Gentle Massage for Children, LLC offers courses taught by Shay Beider for massage therapists, parents and healthcare professionals who would like to learn to massage children and adolescents of all ages and abilities. Shay created Gentle Massage for Children to support safe nurturing touch for children with and without special healthcare needs. Shay teaches a specialized form of therapy she developed called Integrative Touch®. Integrative Touch® is a specialized form of therapeutic touch for patients in medical environments. It takes into account appropriate modifications for chronic, acute and life limiting illness. Shay also offers a certification program for therapists who would like to specialize in working with children. The Certified Pediatric Massage Practitioner™ (CPMP) and the Certified Pediatric Massage Specialist™ (CPMS) can demonstrate advanced training skills in working with children of all ages and abilities.

Shay Beider is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education approved provider. Shay is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #CEP 14474, for 16 contact hours (2-day course) and 24 contact hours (3-day course). Shay meets AMTA CE Requirements.
